The Barrett M107A1 is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .50 BMG with a 20 inch chrome lined fluted barrel and 10+1 capacity. This configuration wears a factory woodland camo finish on a lightweight aluminum upper with an integrated 27 MOA optics rail. A flip up iron rear sight, a four port cylindrical muzzle brake, and a rear monopod with a front bipod complete a suppressor ready package that is about four pounds lighter than earlier M107 rifles.

A bolt carrier group built for suppressor use pairs with an aluminum recoil buffer tuned for suppressed fire. A titanium barrel key and a fully chrome lined bore and chamber resist corrosion, and a thermal guard cheek piece protects the shooter from heat. Numbered witness holes in the magazine make a quick capacity check easy. Ultra hard coatings and nickel Teflon plating on internal parts support smooth operation and easier cleaning.
